Core beliefs.

For many of you, "core beliefs" means religious beliefs. However, religious beliefs also represent a view of the world, how it works, what is vital to happiness and the fullest expression of what it means to be human. So then what are the core beliefs you hold? In your opinion, what is the fullest  possible expression of being human in terms of values and behavior?

What are the characteristics of a true hero?  Is everyone capable of being heroic or does it take qualities possessed by only a few? Post your answer and REPLY to at least two classmates.

What is the significance of Tom's telling us this is a memory play?  Does he, as one of you suggested, want us to doubt the "truth" of his story?  What is his intention? In your opinion, after finishing the book, what is your conclusion about Chris? Was he a fool? Was  he just unlucky? Also, do you care about him? What is your opinion of him as a person?
