ReplyDeleteI think that we know a lot of things when we know a different language and also we are learning about a differente culture, so if you miss the opportunity to learn another language you are not giving the opportunity to know yourself better.

DeleteNot necessarily, sometimes you could know about culture and life without dealing with the language, for example, my parents were from Lebanon and I never understood when they were speaking that language (arabic), but I can say to you that I know something about that culture and it is interesting.
