  8. I think art is valuable even if it serves no purpose. Because art can give meaning to someone. Everyone has their own perspective and experience to get meaning when they saw something undecided. So, even if seven years kid draws or makes something, we can get a meaning from that.

  9. In my opinion art is valuable because it gives people the opportunity to express their feelings; moreover it is the language that all people speak. And it brings all people together. Art hold a very deep concept and sometimes a good message that we can send that expressed better other than just saying it.

  10. In my opinion, even though art has no purposes, it deserve to treat as a good thing.
I think the original goal of art is to give people joyful and interested emotion. It might have some opinions but not have to. Do you think it is not art that someone compose a song just for fun? I think this is also art.

  11. According to my point of view art is valuable because through art one can express their views and feelings in a different way. Even though it is the expressing of feelings in a different way, the second party can draw meaning from it because usually art carries good messages and all we have to do is to draw our perspective regarding it.

  14. In my view, Art in general can lead us to discover and innovate on many new things. Although Art sometimes has no clear purpose on itself, but Art is necessary to open new horizons of thinking that could be not clear in the beginning. In fact, Art purpose can be extended or embedded relatively with other Arts. Arts have been playing an important role in exploring new courses of our life. Therefore, every Art would add value to our life either directly or indirectly regardless to its clarity of purpose.

  15. I do like the idea of "Art for Art`s sake". I believe that the freedom of making art with no specific purpose or anything that can hold the artist back, allows them to create new ways to express themselves. What I mean is: when an artist is self-driven to create, the result is more likely to be original and innovative.

  16. “A picture reveals more than thousand words”, as this proverb says, art is used to express feelings, emotions and ideas in a universal language. So, art is always valuable because all works transmit something, sometimes better than words. In my opinion, art doesn’t need a purpose to exist, art is not logical, it’s not a material, it’s just art.

  17. "Art for art's sake" is a good idea. Besides being pleasing to the eye, art can be a means of communication. For example, looking at the pictures painted hundred years ago, we get to know how people looked like and how their culture was. Although the people we see in the picture might be dead, but it somehow connects us with the past. In addition, art describes the artist's personality. The reason why artist's works vary is because they have different personalities. Artists use their imagination and thoughts to make their work as beautiful as possible, and this gives us a clue about their character and way of thinking about things and people. For example, George Washington's picture have been drawn by different artists in different ways and each way describes the way they thought about George Washington. In addition, Art is an appreciation of human skills and creativity. The works artists produce represent their talent and outstanding skills. Also, with art everything stays alive. For example, if someone draws your picture now, and you see it after 10 years, it will definitely remind you of that moment.

  20. I think art is valuable, because people can express themselves by art. People can express their feelings on the canvas and that itself is pleasant and refreshing. If you make an art work and it move the heart of others who watch it, your art work perpectly serve the purpose. However, art is valuable for a creator even if people do not praise a work.
