  1. I think the reason why the balcony scene is the most famous is that this scene is easy to understand. First, love is a common feeling. Most people experience some kind of love in their life. So they can understand the scene without contexts. Second, the sadness appearing in this scene is easy to imagine. Romeo and Juliet love each other but their family names reject it. This sadness is simple so most people understand this without difficulty.

  2. Why is the balcony scene is the most famous one from Romeo & Juliet ? I have one answer for it. It is beauty of expression which cash in the situation-at the balcony. Romeo says that "It is the east, and Juliet is the sun ","The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars, As daylight both a lamp. Her eyes in heaven."and"O,speak again, bright angel, for thou art. ".
These expression means Juliet is in above to Romeo ,in short she is at the balcony. The situation is very beautiful and verbally expression. Love for Juliet Romeo have is naturally known to reader. That's all.

    1. Yes,I agree with you in the point that this scene is full of love passion and blight future vision. This is so important,I think. In class today you said until act 2 we can see success in this story and from act 3 we can see bad thing there, so this story has turning point in act 3.In my idea,to draw contrast between them, the balcony scene works effectively.

  5. In my opinion, the balcony scene is the most important because it symbolizes the love of two by the bethrothal. I think that the thing which this masterpiece reminds most people of is the attitude of two toward the difficulties. Therefore, as a declaration of the vow of love, it became the most impressive one.

    1. I thought of just the same thing. Its all in this scene that makes it so beautiful and perfect. What happens, how it happens, the language, the message... Everything catches people's eyes and they feel so attracted to it, and this makes it so famous.

    2. i agree, this is could be most important scene and the same time could also be the conflict of the scene because it’s when Romeo and Juliet falling in loved and got married. But instead they should have hated each other because they are the two totally different families who fight between and hate each other very much.

So, its like hate becomes love which why make it more famous.

  7. I believe this is the most famous scene because its when Romeo and Juliet declare their love, and their feelings are so deep and intense that makes a beautiful romantic scene. It also gives a lot of tension because they speak in rhyming verses, full of metaphors and figurative language that elevates the tone and gives their speech a lot of formality, but still really sweet. I personally love this scene, I wish something like this happened to me :)

  9. I think that the balcony scene is one of the most known scenes from shakespeare for three main reasons. First of all, is the most romantic scene in all the play, is where the two main characters, Romeo and Juliet, express their true love to each other. Second of all, in this scene they say that they are willing to do anything, even leave their families, to be together. And for last, Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous plays written by Shakespeare, and this scene can be classified as the rising action because is that part of the story where the problem is shown and that part of the story that cautibates the public.

  10. I think the balcony scene is one of the famous scene in all history of plays because is shows all the romance in all the play by showing all the love between both main characters or protagonists that are Juliet and Romeo. Then it is very tensive the scene because Romeo is hiding from the guards but the most important thing is that they both will forget their families just to be together.
