I think that love can not be experienced at first sight. I don't even know if love is real because if it was it would last for ever and there is no such thing.
I think that love at first sight is not possible. Maybe you just like someone physical appereance, but that's not really love. Love is something you achieve through time.
I think your idea "Love is something you achieve through time" is nice.From my experience love through time each other know well can continue to get along.By the way I have a question. That is whether Romeo and Juliet case applies to your idea.
I think it’s possible to fall in love at first sight. It is possible to love a person without knowing many things about him/her because love is irrational feeling, although I can’t explain why or how people fall in love.

Fumitoshi Akao I think that we can fall in love at first sight. Falling love is the libidinal impulse so that it beyond our consciousness. In other words, it can be happen in our life. Of course, it is just one way of falling love.

I agree with you. What most people call "love at first sight" to me is just an attraction, just liking someone else's PHYSICAL appearance. But true love comes way after getting to actually know the person. How they behave, what they like and what don't, their points of view towards things, and all of that.
I think you can fall in love if you really like too but its all up to your self. That is because you never know just how you look through someone by eyes and if they are good or bad person.
I think it is possible to fall in love at first sight, because when you see for the first moment at a persone, you can fell the conection you and that person will stablish, and the love will start growing and is never going to end. As you know the eyes are the windows of the souls and you can know somebody by looking him through their eyes.
I think there is not such thing as love at first sight because to fall in love you have to know the other person. So for falling in love, you have to spend more time with the person to know the attitude and how she acts to see if you are sure about what you fell the first time that is more attraction than falling in love
