Hi, this is Yu Washida. I think that angel is a servant of God, and some of them help good person, some are causes of miracles and loves and some fight with devil. From the judge of painting, they should be white, clean, pure and has wings and halo.
Hey, this is Ricardo Moraes. I think an angel is a spirit that lives between ourselves, sent by God, to protect, love and bring us Heaven messages. I also believe that the picture we have in mind of what an angel physically is, might me wrong, but it is not that relevant since this is an image made by men to only represent.
I think an angel is the creation not by the "God", but by the human. People in ancient have less knowledge about how things working. And because of that ignorance of the world, people were scared of something unbelievable, strang. So they have to use something to explain. Then, the angel and evil appeared. Because an angel is more familiar to human than "GOD", when people were in troubles, they tend to call help to angels. And that familiarities made many people believe in angels while they belong to different religions.
