Up here, a stillness ーthe sound of the cicadas seeps into the crags.
This poetry expresses that the stillness of Japanese garden. That is also the reason why I like this poetry. Then It says the sound of the cicadas is fading out like seeping into the crags.
“天生我材必有用，千金散尽还复来。” Since heaven gave the talent,let it be employed. Spin a thousand pieces of silver,all of them come back.
The reason why I love this one is this author got political persecution, and the country didn't think his ability is important . So he uses this to protest them.
Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face.
